End of Life Care
End of life (or palliative) care is specialised care for people with life threatening illnesses.
End of life care provides comfort by managing pain and other distressing symptoms. It also involves psychological, social and spiritual support for the ill person, their family or carers.
Our care staff work closely with healthcare professionals (such as Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists) to help co-ordinate the holistic care of people with an incurable illness.
We believe that everyone approaching the end of life has the right to the highest quality care and support, wherever they live, and whatever their condition.
